Conflux founder Long Fan: From Tsinghua's Yao Class to the technological commitment of a high-performance public chain!
The biggest advantage of Conflux is that its overall technical architecture achieves high-performance TPS without sacrificing decentralization and security.
The network can support 3000-6000 TPS, and the confirmation time is also very fast. Since the mainnet went live, it has maintained a zero safety incident rate, reflecting the stability and reliability of the architecture.
Compliance is not something that is "striven for", but rather a combination of "long-term belief + path selection". Professor Long Fan pointed out that Conflux became the only compliant public chain in China due to historical reasons. This was not something that was strived for, but rather, in the previous regulatory policies, most teams actively abandoned this path. Many did so due to short-term strategic considerations, such as migrating to Singapore.
Conflux adheres to a compliant development path and has incurred very high compliance costs, requiring more restraint in many decisions.
The team firmly believes that compliance is achievable and is willing to make efforts for it, even at the expense of some short-term interests. Most core team members graduated from Tsinghua University, and there are also researchers who have studied abroad; they are engaged in a technically oriented and serious endeavor.
They believe they can persist in taking a path of normal development, willing to try to communicate with regulators and explore feasible solutions.
Regarding the layout of Hong Kong, Professor Long Fan believes that Hong Kong can now be understood as a "special zone" for blockchain. Compared to the mainland, the compliance costs in Hong Kong are much lower. Hong Kong is in a natural policy dividend period, which is a very important opportunity window.
