As a trader with over ten years of experience in the digital currency field, I have gone through a long journey from losses to achieving financial freedom. The trading results in the past two years have been particularly remarkable - from May 2022 to June 2024, I achieved an astonishing return of 418134.86% with a principal of less than 700,000, increasing the account value to over 28 million. Today, I want to share some of my personal trading insights and strategies with everyone.
First and foremost, protecting your principal is crucial. I recommend setting strict stop-loss rules: close the position immediately if a single trade loses 5%, and decisively stop trading if the intraday drawdown exceeds 15%. Remember, in this market, survival is the prerequisite for profitability.
Secondly, the opening position strategy should be cautious and precise. I tend to set orders near key support or resistance levels, rather than blindly entering the market with a full position. The initial position should not be too large, usually controlled around 200U. If a mistake in judgment is made, one must decisively cut losses and never engage in stubborn fighting.
When the profit reaches twice the stop loss, I will immediately withdraw the principal and continue to hold the position with half of the profit. This "floating profit" strategy not only protects the principal but also does not miss out on major market movements. Before the daily closing, I will move the stop loss point up to the opening price so that the market can help me safeguard the profit.
As the account grows, you can moderately increase your position and trading frequency. But always remember that risk control is the most important aspect of trading. Don't let short-term high returns cloud your judgment; maintaining rationality and patience is the key to long-term success.
Finally, I want to emphasize that trading is a skill that requires continuous learning and practice. Everyone should develop their own strategies based on their risk tolerance and trading style. I hope my experience can provide some reference for everyone, and I wish every trader can find their own path to success in this market full of opportunities and challenges.
